WindEnergy Hamburg 2026: FreiLacke presents coating solutions for the wind energy of tomorrow

The wind energy sector is developing at a rapid pace. Larger turbines, longer operating times, more challenging environmental conditions and increasing demands on maintenance intervals are shaping the development of modern wind turbines. At the WindEnergy Hamburg 2026 FreiLacke will be presenting in  Hall B7 | Stand 236 high-performance coating solutions specifically tailored to the requirements of the wind industry. 

As a systems provider, FreiLacke has been developing and manufacturing bespoke coating systems for industrial applications for decades. For manufacturers and suppliers in the wind energy sector, the company offers solutions that reliably protect components from the elements, UV radiation, moisture and mechanical stress, whilst ensuring a high level of process reliability during application. 

The focus of the exhibition stand is on coating systems for hybrid towers and rotor blades. These are particularly user-friendly, can be applied both manually and by machine, are virtually VOC-free and cure at room temperature without the need for external energy.   

 Wind turbines are exposed to extreme climatic conditions over many years – both onshore and offshore. The demands placed on the corrosion protection, surface durability and longevity of the coating systems used are correspondingly high. FreiLacke adopts a consistently customer-focused approach. The focus is on understanding our customers’ individual requirements and processes. Our aim is not only to impress with high-performance and cost-effective coating solutions, but also to create genuine added value through well-thought-out packaging and application processes.

WindEnergy Hamburg brings the international wind energy sector together every two years and is regarded as a key meeting place for manufacturers, suppliers, operators and decision-makers. More than 1,600 exhibitors from around 40 countries and over 43,000 trade visitors are expected to attend this year’s event. For the first time in 2026, the new Energy Storage Area will place an even greater focus on the interplay between wind energy, energy storage and smart energy management – a key component of a successful energy transition.
