With vertical systems, the focus is initially on coating a component or a group of components with the same coating structure. We call it vertical because a multi-layer system coating is built up from bottom to top. Of course, there have always been primers and topcoats. However, the unique feature of our vertical systems is that they combine electrodeposition coatings, industrial coatings and powder coatings, as well as Durelastic for GRP. When putting together these vertical systems, it's important that the technological properties, such as the adhesion between coating layers, are matched to optimum effect. The coatings are also adjusted to make the manufacturing process as economical as possible for the customer, for example, with regard to drying times.
